figured i'd start one... or not......
the wife figured that travelocity has their
"traveling gnome", so why couldn't we have a "traveling cat" :)
I remember the Preist one,lol.
the sweetest looking cougar of them all????
Did they ever make the " cat-man" light logo thing? Kinda batman only with the cougar head?
the rain made them shine :).... well, some of us needed the rain's help......
and being how Tina is going to cosmetology school, she couldn't resist having her picture taken with the cat in front of "Tina's Salon"
is this the one you asked for
Yep, lol
HA! I love it! Good idea with the traveling Cat head! LMAO
Here are some of my pictures reduced in size and quality (hence the grain) for you dial-up folk...and because my DSL aint fast enough to upload all of these in a reasonable amount of time.

Would you mind sending me the original full size picture of this? My mother loves Tweedy and I plan on getting it put on photo paper and giving it to her.
Thanks!
Sure what's your email addy?
Thanks, it's stock. Vinyl...also stock. What registry?
No, aftermarket probably from the 80s era though. The cast spokes were Shawn's and Zach's suggestions when I asked them which wheel that would be true to the era, yet a little bit of class. So, I set out to look for a set of these and got lucky. I had to spend a lot of time on them though.
Thanks, and thanks.
Thanks, they were a lot of work. I was actually getting frustrated with how much time they were taking hence the "sneak peak" thread. I would have done more to them if I had more time but I had to cut short and go with it but there is more I should still do to them before I am completely satisfied. However, they are good enough for me now considering what little time I had to work on them and the rest of the car.
hey cougars 2 go this is mercury-man please drop me a line we talked last sat. at cjam about coachlamps. i have 2 old ones that need to be fixed thanks first time visitor of this board {85 cougar ls } black w/coachlamps

Board moderators, do you know where the pictures are?
Mercury-man, we'll pick this up in that thread so we don't hijack this one that pertains to Cat Jam pictures.
:drink: Carl again on the right..
now the real question is what was he thinking while he was layed out in the parking lot?
1.. honey your so cold and you feel like concrete!
or
2.. man these beds at the red roof inn are as hard as asphalt!
or even
3.. yummy this asphalt tastes like chicken!!
He was thinking "Do I still have all my fingers???.?......"
Finally got the web pages up for the pics I have.
Didn't take as many as I usually do. Don't know why.
Anyway, here they are:

There were a lot of cars to do, so the files are pretty good size. My apologies to dial-up users. I tried to get them as small as I could and still be decently viewable.
That was awesome man!!!
Oh man!! Great work!! very cool.
Nice work, Kevin. I didn't bring my camera equipment this year, so it's up to you to make the '07 video.

"I didn't bring my camera equipment this year, so it's up to you to make the '07 video."
This will be my next project, but I'm hoping to "steal" some pictures posted by others as I didn't get as many as usual, and I got even less video.
So if anyone has pictures or especially video you would care to post to aid me in making this years music video, it would be greatly appreciated.
I got some video, although it's all camara phone vid.
very cool !!!!! I saved it and set it as my desktop wallpaper..............hope you dont mind.
is there anyway that this can be looped ?
Fila;
If they are as decent as your "mild take off" of Greg's car, they should do fine. If you could post them or send them to my email, that'd be great.

No, I certainly don't mind. Here is another version that I think is the looping version:

First of all, thank you to anyone who has provided me with additional pictures and videos.
Now I need help again. I've been working on the video and I've already got some test versions done.
My question is this; How big of a file size is everyone willing to download?
I can save the video in several different formats (wmv, mpg, mov, avi plus the higher def versions of each) each having varying degrees of file sizes. My test versions right now (about 5 minutes long) range from 8mb all the way up to 200mb (the 200 is a higher def, 16:9 widescreen version). I'll be uploading the finished product(s) to my own domain, so I'm not worried about the size there, just how big people are willing to download (especially if we have a number of peeps on dial-up).
.AVI anything up to 100MB.Though I can handle just about any format.
Kevin, I think a wide variety would be okay. I'm thinking about making the CJ07 DVD in a high-def widescreen format so that version, I'd definitely be interested in. But otherwise I think most people here either have high-speed Internet connections or have access to it. Still, you can't forget those of us with dialup at home. :)
Alright, I *think* I have everyone's photos by now. Kevin, just need whatever you're working on. Anyone else that wants to pass along CJ07 photos but hasn't yet...please get crack-a-lackin'.
I hope to get-r-done this weekend.
I got some pics of the flowers from the garden and I think 3 of a 79' Fairmont. I didn't post as they are from the camara phone again
(84 fila) my wife e-mailed eric a bunch of garden photos too (85 cougar l/s w/ coachlamps)
The 2007 music videos are done. I did 3 versions, 1 with oldies music, 1 with techno and one with pop music. The 3 I'm posting are HD versions and are VERY large file sizes. All 3 are Windows Media format.
Here they are:
Classic (423mb) (http://"http://wm3banners.net/catjam07/classic_HD.wmv")
Pop (237 mb) (http://"http://wm3banners.net/catjam07/pop_HD.wmv")
Techno (261 (http://"http://wm3banners.net/catjam07/techno_HD.wmv")
I will try to get smaller versions available in the next couple of days, but I just wanted to get these done for Eric to add to the CD/DVD.
Kevin, I'm trying to download them now. I *should* be able to convert them to .mov files but if not I'll let you know; might need you to do the conversion.
Just an update...I have successfully completed the DVD and am burning copies right now. I'll begin mailing them out this week.
sweet! Cant wait to get mine.
Sweet indeed.:)
Eric- Thanks for the good news :cougarsmily: :cougarsmily:
Eric, thanks for all of your hard work for our Cat Jams, Tshirts, CDs, etc. Also, can't forget Karen - thank you.
Got the DVD today but the various viewer and multimedia programs on my computer are unable to view it. What software do I need to view it?
Kevin's movies were Windows Media...the photos were all .JPGs. Maybe some of the non-Kevin movies from John were Quicktime; those were from a camera phone, so they probably are .mov files (Quicktime). Installing the latest version of Quicktime may be warranted (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/). Maybe there's a firmware update for your DVD drive that would help also.
Just got the dvd in the mail today and finished watching it. IT KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone that was a part of it. The pictures were amazing, video's were the best. Had a great time at CJ and just as much re-living it today.
Eric, a personal thanks to making all of this happen
 Eric-This CD is very "coolcatish" we want to thank you and your followers for that wonderful weekend in this past july. :cougarsmily: :cougarsmily:
Eric, got the DVD today. Great job! Thank you for everything!
Cougars2go, I was able to play the DVD in my DVD player, and on the computer it played just fine using both Windows Media Player 10 and Real Player 10.5. Hope that helps.
I watched mine on a DVD/TV and on the computer using Media Player 10 as well, both worked great.
Got mine last night. Great job. It'll be great for showing off the DVD player next year.
thanks e very sweet now i cant wait till next year
Just got mine yesterday, and stayed up till 3:30am watching it after work. Thanks Eric, very cool.
i got mine as well thanks eric.nice job
Eric, are you still sending DVD's out?
They've all been sent out to all CJ07 attendees...you were on the list. If you didn't get it by now then I'll send a new one out first thing next week. No biggie.
Yeah, I didn't get one :(
