my wipers quit on my 88 tbird i thought maybe the motor replaced it but still nothing is their a way to jump the switch to see if it is the switch
1)EVTM says check circuit breaker 2..... referencing round turn signal can at 2 o'clock circuit breaker is at 6 o'clock
2)Battery voltage should be present between DG and BLK wires @ wiper switch with ignition in run or accy, if not check wires for open
3)if both of these are OK switch is faulty
i got power to the dg but not the blk
do you have any idea where the blk wire runs to cant seem to find were it goes
Do you have power with one meter lead on DG and the other on BK? If so suspect switch. Don't have evtm here not sure where bk wire goes. I would assume ground
ill check thanks
Just curious (and more info for diagnosis)...
Did the wipers:
1 - Not move from "parked", though they worked fine last time.
2 - Stop in the middle of wiping with the blades still up on the glass, never to move again.
3 - Go down and "park" themselves while wiping as if you had turned them off, even though the switch was still "on".
changed the switch and now i have wipers again but they wont seat when i turned them off any ideas
Eric's info should help with that
