The chrome LX window trim needs to go. Other then that she looks solid, and a nice price. Love the paint color too. I'd fix the few minor things on the body and have it touched up so it was really nice.

3 friends and i piled into the g6 and off we went.  when we got there, i took the car for a spin.  it was only making 7psi and when i pulled back in the driveway, it was smoking.  popped the hood and poked around a bit to find a valve cover with bolts that were hand tight, and a leaking oil feed line.  took care of that and turned the boost up to where it should be and all was well.... until i boosted 15psi on it.  it popped off the intercooler hoses a couple of times.  the crank case breather is bad, so it's letting oil get into the turbo inlet, intercooler, and throttle body... making the hoses a bit slippery.

we figured that if we just took it easy the whole way home, we'd be ok.

well, we get out on the highway and start the trip back.  we get about an hour away and the hose popped again.  we pull over to find that the kid i bought the car from used the ihi coupler on the t3 when he swapped.  it didn't quite fit, but he made it work... ripping the hose in the process.  we found a truck service station and bought some new hoses, and continued on our way.

made it all the way without another hitch.

so far, so good.

i'm pretty happy with the way things turned out.  it's got a few issues, but nothing that can't be fixed within a weekend.  i'm just glad to be back in a turbocoupe.:birdsmily:
