what do we use to lower these cars, or at least stiffen up the suspension so it handles a bit better?

:shakeass: i'm an idiot.  i swearsss i'm not a noob :punchballs: now that the :flame: is done.... what shocks do you guys recommend for our cars?  what brand is better suited then others?  i know that on the sho's the kyb's suck, but they're a good quality shock, just not on that car.  which one's work well for the tc's

Since its an 87 88 TC you have a limited selection due to the ride control stuff.

If you wanted to just ditch the ride control I would search ebay for a set of Koni shocks and struts.

i havent run any performance shocks/struts on a tbird, yet. i can make comparisons to sn95 cars though. tokico, koni, and bilstein are all nice when properly matched with the spring rate.
my car has factory 04 Cobra bilsteins on it. but i havent driven it yet to evaluate them.

pssssst, josh. Ether947 is sellin a set of FRPP tbird springs in the classifieds....

I got a complete set of Koni Sport springs. Supposed to lower it 1.5". Rear rates stay the same, fronts are 420lbs/in. or about 110lbs stiffer.
