Possibly the worst thing that has happened to me so far with this car to date, the center cap for my no longer made rims flew off somewhere and now needs to be replaced.
Does anyone know where I can get one of these center caps? Like most parts to these cars I will probly have to pay dearly for it. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance. They are cragar rims. If a size of the center is needed I can get that too.
They look like this:
Hey those wheels are popular! Check out van conversion places. I see 2-3 every day with those wheels on.
BTW, nice paint!
Van conversion places? :hick: I am afraid Im not too familiar....
You know, they take the RWD vans and put all the fancy on them. Bodykits, spoilers, giant windows, lights everywhere, leather captain's chairs, and 99% of the time those exact wheels.

Dude, is there any way you can find out what kind of rim that is?? It looks almost the same as what i have, close enough for the caps to work. If you can sweet, if not, your still the man cuz your the only one who posted any kind of reply when I needed help.
:birdsmily:
I honestly have NO idea. My grandad had a 91 Dodge Conversion Van to pull his 32' enclosed trailer for the longest time and it had those wheels too. (He just sold it earlier this year). I'd imagine the backside of the wheel could have some markings. I almost want to say American Racing made/makes them...
Are they the Centerline wheels? Red Spar mentioned something about having or knowing of a pair, unless his are the Centerline wheels. I dont know if that helps.
I think this is them:

Let me know.

I believe that would work! I will double check to make sure they are the right size but, ! How did you find those? I looked everywhere including ebay and couldn't find anything.
I was in the tire/wheel business a few years ago and thought that they looked like American Racing wheels. A few searches and came up with it. Be sure to measure them before ordering.
Jim
yeah, i sent the seller a pm already saying that they are a little wider than mine are and if they will overhang at all. we shall see. Maybe this is a sign for me to get new rims? I have yet to find some that look as good as these. Id like a good set of aluminum rims but....yeah.
by the way, thanks jim. You da man.
No problem. If they won't work, at least you know what they are now.

Was driving around the slum area today in the Springs and found some hub-cap dealer from the 80's and he just happen to have 2 of the same caps I got. I only paid 5 bucks for both too. Thanks to all for your help in this issue. The bird can once again rock on....yeah.
What luck!
Yeah I know, usually luck is not on my side. I stopped at another place and he told me cragar doesn't even make rims anymore! :hick:
