Hello everyone. I am cleaning out my garage and I have some stuff from a few years back when I had my 86 Thunderbird.
First I have a set of taillights from my 86 Thunderbird. They are in great shape. There is one dent in the aluminum part on the drivers side taillight and a small mark on the passenger side one but other than that they look new. They are modified for the sequential turn signals. Asking $50 shipped OBO.
I also have the sequential turn signal module that i bought from foxthundercats. It works fine and is ready to be installed. Asking $60 shipped OBO.
Or you can have both for $100 shipped.
I also have a set of 6 auto lite spark plugs and new napa 8mm wires for a 3.8 tbird or cougar. They are all still in there boxes Asking $30 shipped OBO.

Even More!
Finally:
Do you know offhand if you can use 85-6 lights in an 83-4 car? If so i might be intrested
I probably need someone to confirm, but I am 90% sure that you can use the newer taillights in the older cars. I'll wait for one of the experts to answer this though.
well mike and mike you can't use the newer lights in the older cars without doing alot of fab work.
Why is that? They are the same style unless those are bigger. Or the mounts are different.
reverse light location....
Theres a difference between 83-84 and 85-86 tail lights?
I thought it was just 83-86 and 87-88.
I was thinking the same thing, but who knows???
They are different, The reverse light on the 83-84 is in the center of the tail light. They also have the old style tbird emblem on them. As far as mounting goes, I'm not sure if they will fit, but light location is different
Want this stuff gone:
30 shipped on the lights
40 shipped on the sequencer
60 shipped for both if you want them
How does the sequencer work with those lights? Isn't it all one light? I have it on my 88 with three seperate lights and it looks sweet!
It works pretty good, not as well as it would on a 87-88 car. There are 3 separate lights in the taillights 2 of them face backwards and one faces towards the side. Even with just the 2 lights from behind it still looked pretty cool.
TTT
20 shipped lights
30 shipped sequencer
40 shipped both
let me know otherwise im just gonna toss this stuff
I ask again, because I really like the lights. How hard would it be to re-wire to fit the 86 lights into my 84? Just switching the bulbs around?
I would assume that it would be that easy but as I have not looked at the 84 lights I can't tell you for sure. Maybe someone else could help?
check out cool cats under the stock/mod info under the tail light modifications... suposedly, it takes alot of time and work. But the sequencer and resell the tail lights...
Thats for cougar lights. I think they were different. 83-4 and 85-6 Look the same, and look like they would fit. Wiring shouldn't be hard either, just the arangement of bulbs is what I think. I wana get these and try
