Does anyone know how much the strut tower holes need to be lengthened to get enough neg. Camber adjustment when using a stock 88 tc k-member w/ fox stang a-arms? I'm assuming theres no way to cut more with the plates on and im hoping to do this in one shot... Thanks
Well, there is really no way to cut them too far. I slotted mine until I got to the curve of the tower.
With the shorter Mustang LCA, you are going to have problems getting enough neg camber. One thing a lot of Mustang guys did was switch to the longer Tbird arms. Later Mustangs came with longer LCAs.
If you take a long straightedge and go across both towers, you can scribe lines and keep the slots exactly 90*.
Wow, really? Even with Maximum Motorsports CC plates in the negative position?
I have been away from the camber plate tech for a while now, so maybe the ones you mentioned have enough movement to get the numbers you are looking for. I had Global West, and actually cut away some of the plate that fitted under the tower to gain room.
Also, I lowered my car and added some spacers and longer studs to raise the upper mount to regain some strut travel.
ok, thanks for the input! Anyone have experience with the MM CC plates?
I had the MMCC plates, 87 TC k-member and fox a-arms and needed no lengthening of the slots. My car was even lowered approx 2" in the front.

Thanks thundr! How much neg camber did you have dialed in? Got any pics? I'd like to see how wheels pulled in. What wheels and brakes are you running?
I have no idea where the alignment sheet is. I was running stock brakes and 17x9 03 Cobra replicas.

hmm, stock brakes? Wonder if that makes a differnce that I'm running 94 stang spindles...?
anyone else have experience here? It'd really help me out, thanks!
