so the insurance company is giving us $2k and i keep the car .so i think there is project turbo sport. every thing i can salvage is going in the red sport. plus thank god that the car has a strong chassis. i'd hate to think if she was in a honda or something.

Happy to hear your wife is OK.

As much as we like these cars, they are just that, a car and can easily be replaced.

The wife is important. Glad to hear she's ok.

Salvage what you can of the car and build another even better one.

I'm glad to hear she's okay, though it had to be terrifying. Getting hit by someone who isn't paying attention is one of my major fears. If it's any consolation, it looks like you should be able to salvage almost everything. If you can get your hands on a good destination car, you can transplant just about everything if you wish, or just what you want to keep and part out the rest. I guess it depends on what you're putting it into.

I'm glad to hear your wife is okay. Sorry about the car but like others said, it's just a car.

Hey look on the bright side, I don't know how your wife is about Birds BUT now she probably won't give you a fit if you go out and buy a bunch more. Afterall, she knows from experience that they are safe :)

That sucks but at least no one was hurt. Cars can be fixed much easier than people.

well i have very good news. i just got back from getting the car and bringing it to the shop. went next door to the body shop and the owner came over and looked at it. he said it wasn't that bad. he could easily pull it straight for 2-300 dollars. so all i need to find is a core support. for now i'll steal the frt sheetmetal and door off the sport mount it so he can pull it then put it back on the sport.does anyone have a driver door and frt clip they want to come off with? also does anyone know if a mustang core support is the same? and once again guys thanx for the moral support.  wooo hooo
