Well last night after I grilled and went to put everything away I stepped on something sharp, took a few more steps and it was getting worse so I looked and yep, bee in the foot still stinging me. As much as that sucks for anybody I'm allergic and have yet to tell my dr. So basically I drugged myself with benadryl and went to bed with a swollen foot.
Well this morning I woke up feeling like I got hit by a bus, my eyes were swollen and I can't walk. This is total ! I could walk better when I crashed my bike and broke my leg! So crutches again until I can put y foot down again.
Oh well, just drives me off that a stupid little bee could cause this much trouble. On the plus side, I'm hurting but it's dead so ah ha
Well, you should tell your doctor, Chrystal. Bee stings have been known to kill some people! Pretty serious. Oh, a bee sting really hurts too!
yeah, just kind of one of those things you don't think about until you get stung though...
That's a py situation.
I hope you feel better. My face swelled like crazy the last time I made contact with poison ivy. One eye was totally sealed off, in fact.
This was in 6th grade or so. Get this: my parents still made me go to school. I felt like an ass.
Might wanna discuss with the doc if this is a possibility or not before you get too nonchalant about it. Right kind of bee or wasp gets you and it could be real trouble - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anaphylaxis
yeh you do need to see the dr. even though im a person that warns everyone not to trust thier dr's i still think you should go. they might have a shot that'll clear it all up in one night. it could be serious so i hope you do get better.
to add some humor, my uncle built a wooden deck, and then he has built a 3 car garage. when he was walking between the 2 he got stung by a yellow jacket. he found out they had nested between the concrete and where the boards met the cement. well he took his shop vac, and taped the end of the hose to a ladder. he turned it on and when the yellow jackets went to the nest or left, they got sucked up by the vac. he found 2 other nests and poured a gallon of gas in each borrow (too close to the house to light it) but they would stagger out and would get sucked up with the vac... so for the past 3 days he's been sitting in a lawn chair eatin chips, watching the bee's getting sucked up in the vac while his dog bear sits next to him getting the ever so often chip watching the bee's too. he said it was so frequent and funny its like watching tv (that addictive)
"Bees! Bees! Bees in the car! Bees Everywhere! God, they're huge! They're ripping my flesh off!"
"They're huge, and they're sting crazy!"
"Your firearms are worthless against them!"
I'm thinking Dr's apt in the morning if this keeps up. I know what they're gonna do too, they're gonna give me a shot in the "hip" That's what they did when I had an allergic reaction to a chemical at school. In all reality, it's a shot in the ass and it's not pleasant, took 3 last time...
And Autocat, that's freaking hilarious
They have meds to help you.I promise.
I've have only been stung twice.
Once by a bee on my throat and once by a hornet/wasp on my . One was immensely more displeasurable than the other. :punchballs:
Want me to come up and take care of you?
:-)))
Yep allergic to them here also. I took three years of shots when I was a kid to cure me of the allergy. Haven't been stung since then so I don't know if it worked or not.
This reminds me of Dane Cook. And I edited quote.

Did nobody get the Tommy Boy quote?
Oh yeah, I could only imagine being stung in the throat!
I did, just chuckled to myself. Although I've been meaning to ask, Who's your favorite little rascal... Alfalfa or Spanky?
So you gonna be out to parkway on friday to show us crystal? :hick:
Well, I'm off crutches and stuck with a big ass bruise on the bottom of my foot which blows, but hey, shoes fit again!
As for Friday, I might be out, not sure yet
