The majority has been painted since the 429 was in it, i need to redo the top of the firewall and were the hood hinges were

almost got the VHT to look how i want it still needs to be a hair lighter imo

I bought it at a local speed shop,jegs,summit,advance auto(on sale) mine is the DEI brand

I didnt when i wraped my headers ,but i heard it's alot easier to work with if it's wet.

ok now for impressions,

the wrap on the downpipe is very dark now after a couple of heat cycles.

The intake pipe is about 50* cooler to the touch

good to hear. how far down the down pipe did you go? the headlights look better. im a smoked fan myself but the blacks look pretty good with the white. hope that hood doesnt f up the roof paint

can you put two layers on? or will it not stay? just a thought. does that stuff get old an wear out?

I went from the end with the turbo to were it goes under the floor of the car.The headlights are still a little dark for my liking but there alot better then what i started with for sure. yeah you can double layer it and yes it is a wear item.
