Title: Newbie 12 sec T-bird
Post by: 347Thunder on July 14, 2007, 07:21:11 AM
Hey new to the forum,I have a 1986 T-bird with some goodies I just started to do my UPR front conversion.I went to the track june 20 and ran a 12.380@112.38.I could have had a better run but the car was getting loose at the end so I let off a little I am hoping to hit the 11 sec range next time out.The UPR kit will drop like 75 lbs and fix my loose motor mounts that are hanging on for dear life.

I am in the process of changing my gears to either 4.11 or 4.33 as you can see mymy 60ft time sucks I need the gears and a higher stall but I still drive it on the street so hard to decide.

It is a street car all the way!I just removed the a/c because the condenser made the car run too hot around town but it was a daily driver until the 100* temps down here in florida now it is just a weekend car but it is very fun to drive this grocery getter it's a sleeper for sure.

for your k-member kit does it just come with front coil-overs only or back coil-overs only or both front and back? also does it break easy or strong when put in?
