i am planning on buying some turbines set of 6 and i wanted to know what is the biggest size for the rear tires that will fit under a cougar that i can use for racing? also the other 4 i am planning on using the other for daily driver tire but i want a little bit bigger than stock size that look beefy.
I belive it's a 275-50-15" for racing and I bet you could pull off a 225/60 on the front, 245-50 on the rear for street
Don't go too big, then it'll look like a truck tire. Not cool on our cars.
What kind of racing?
drag
I have seen my friends run 28x11 M/T slicks on them I have 26x10.50 so you have some pretty good choices
I've been wondering if 235/60's will fit front and rear for street, but maybe not. Has anyone tried it? I'm running the standard 225/60's now.
Before I went 5 lug, I had 275/50's w/15" rims in the rear, but that was with the adjustable springs in the back. I'm pretty sure 235/60's will fit both ways. I think my front tires were 215/60's, and that was with the springs cut and the 4 lug custom 15" rims. I'll have to go look at them.
I'm running 235-60 -15's all around with no problems,I wish i had 245's on the back.
what type of mustang v6 and year can i use there coil overs for my car.
I have 275X50-15s on the back of mine now and having no problems with wear or rubbing. Running 235x60-15s front.
what is the biggest tires that will fit on the stock 14 inch rims?
14x6?
Nothing wider than a 225, and that's pushing it.
235-60-15 front, 245-60-15 rear. Absolutely no problems.:D
I had 275/50/15's on the back of mine at one point too, and 235/60/15's up front with no probs. They did rub on big bumps with a passenger though, or entering a steep grade driveway.
so for the stock 14's the largest is 225/ ? /r14
