Drive it to some remote location in the woods, set it on fire, and wait for tales of a mysterious ghost car that's been sitting for 30-40 years to start floating around town.

Wash it. If you ger crazy paint the trim and buff it. Then a good air filter/air cleaner and you should be good

Cool!

Looks like it will clean up very nicely actually, The engine is a whole lot cleaner then i was expecting.

My bird was free too, Except for the cost of towing, heh.

 lol

Before you sink any money into it tagging, cleaning, replacing parts etc., be sure the rest of it is solid and get it straightened.
Not like you could complain though. Who does about a free car? :D

after the body is straight, do some mods to that v6 like put a stroker kit on the engine, cam ,some heads, make it carb, different rear end for posi, and a new hood, plus true duals then you got a great and nice looking car.

Lol.  That'd be waaaaay more expensive than it would be to just go out and find a 5.0 Ho to stuff in it.  Would be cool though.

But anyhow, clean it up first obviously.  Once all that dirt is off, you may have a better idea of what you're working with.  Even after that you could call it project Dirt Clod :hick: .  Wish i could find a 4-eye for free.

you know... it seems kinda funny to me that I keep getting so many of you fox chassis guys telling me to junk it, s it, or burn it... No respect for someone willing to try to save another fox?
And for those of you who have been giving legit ideas... THANKS!!!

There are some people on here that if they see a little bit of rust or damage from a wreck they will just tell you to "find a good shell and transfer the good stuff to it" or "its a beater". I posted a pic of some rust in the rear lower quarter panel and was told my front frame rails had to be rusted out. Which as you can see isnt true.

Thats why I dont feel like posting any progress pics of my car it seems like a lot of BS on the board lately.
Sorry for the hijack.
Nice car and you cant beat a deal like that. Get it fixed and if I were you i would ditch the 3.8 and go with a 5.0 HO but thats up to you.

No, give it to me, I'm closer :D  Besides, if I stick it in the backyard the city won't even notice it sitting amongst the trees. It's already camaflouged.:hick:
Seriously though, if it won't break you to save it, save it by all means, but you may want to get rid of some of the camaflouge. If you want to soup it up a bit, there are 3.8 aftermarket superchargers that will make it a sleeper.

Here we go again... Someone wantin' to stick a SC on a limp dick 3.8... You're wastin' your time on a stock engine... You'll need the complete Super Coupe engine if you want it to live...
