This is my '87 Cougar LS, it is almost 100% origional still.
Ive had it for just over a month now and havent done much more then a tune up, some gaskets and a little tint on the back windows.
She has 141k on the clock and is due for a new tranny. The AOD is an awesome transmisson but dollar for dollar its only a bit more to swap to a t-5 so im accumulating as many parts as I can as fast as I can.
I went out and picked the car up the same day my girl left me so ive aptly names this "project crazy cooch." It was a daily driver for a glorious two weeks and i fell in love with it just in time for 3rd and O.D. to go out so now it doesnt see much use, just the weekly wash and wax.
Shes equipped from the factory with 2.73 locking rear-end and the 5.0. Ive previously had a few import toys but grew away from them once i learned how useful torque is.
Also, I managed to loose the clear half of the headlight housing, if anyone could point me in the direction of the clear lenses I see a few users have it would be appreciated.

You're better off replacing the whole lense with one that is in one piece. I had a mint passenger side headlight for an 87-88 Cougar about a month ago but I sold it to someone else here on the board.

I got off of work early today so i decided to go for an afternoon ride around some of my favorite gravel roads. I spent a good hour :cougarsmily: steering with the back wheels:cougarsmily: and taking pictures. Rather then chopping up the pictures ill just post the links. Sorry about the lack of interrior photos, but the passenger side of my dash was in the back seat, Im waiting to get a new blower motor assy. and a few odds and ends so i can get my heat/a.c. back to 100%
