I've started fixing up the cluster i got from an 83-84 TC to swap into my car for the tach.
But the dayglow pins color are worn down/half worn and just plain look py...
Should i bother with trying to keep them with the glowing junk? Or just paint it with some touch up paint?
you might be able to get dayglow paint at a hobby town or some hobby shop. If they do sell it they might have different colors so who knows.
Don't put anything on that is thick... Added weight will throw off the calibration...
Hmm, i had that lingering thought in the back of my head as well...
Ugh, It's bugging me though... The needles are half yellow and half orange due to fading.
I'm kind of a perfectionist. :flame:
Any other suggestions on this?
I would really like to go with a phospscent red color on the needles, But not at the cost of any calibration problems...
I dunno, aren't there phospscent Sharpies???
Aha!
I'll go shopping for some and see how it looks.
Thanks for the idea!
Bummer...
I'm not finding any phospscent markers, Found some paint pens...
