hey all sorry to keep asking but i really need a set of good dew wipes for my 83 cougar both sides have fallen apart thanks

Why don't you replace the rubber pieces with the JC Whitney parts? There's a thread in the body/appearance forum.

Drats!! Foiled again.  First the clutch fan and now the dew wipes.  I'm trying to make a buck or two here so I don't have to just throw this stuff away.

It's just that I think he's been looking for these things since last summer. I wanted to make sure he knew about that article.

The felt-lined rubber squeegee-type weatherstripping that reside at the base of the door window glass. They prevent water and other material from entering the door cavity.
With age and UV exposure, the rubber dries out and becomes brittle. It's very common on the '83-'86 cars.
