So yesterday the Focus's brakes started grinding on the way to work. I check them out and the rotors are grooved bad on both sides. Wonderful. It's an 04 lease (which is up in Nov) and I've already replaced all four tires. So we check to see if the warranty covers it and sure enough it does. Call up Ford and they ask for the mileage. 36380. Oh I'm sorry, your warranty is up @ 36000. Sweet.

Nope. 36 month/36,000 is the (low) standard for Ford these days. They just don't understand warranties. Even John's GTO is a 6 year/60,000 miler.
Warranty's and Returns and the such are getting worse and worse nowadays, It's basically getting to be "You bought it, It's nothing to do with us anymore". :disappoin
