4K??? I'm assuming it runs like a raped ape to redline but geez, that seems like an awful small powerband.

Is that a custom built header?

yes, a 2 step and spray make spooling near instant but real world driving it is quite laggy. And yes i built the header myself
some holsets with the split scroll just dump one side into the exhaust I havent checked my housing but id say it is realistic that it is. Im fixing to wrap my header and turbine to see if i can gain a little spool time.

Theres alot of weight that can be taken out of the 87-88 cars.

correct thats with no magic to make it spool.

I do have a fogger on my car set to 100 h/p but i havent used it yet.

I did go back to my 60mm t/b today(from the stocker) and it seems it spools a bit quicker  around 300-400 rpm. Im going to try wrapping the header and turbine side to see if i can gain a little on the motor spool time.

on a side note there is a company that makes smaller holset exhaust sides but there pricey
