As of now, it's up in the air. I'm figuring out how bad the rust is. If it's savable it's my DD. IF not it's getting humanily parted.

the only clutch kits we use at the shop are LUK brand. haven't had one fail yet. stay away from the el cheapo brands. they are $h!t. and sorry about the grille i still have it and your name is on it its just things around here go from chaos to mayhem on a daily basis.

Make sure you check what kinda shape the clutch fork is in. The original fork in mine had one of the spring clips at the TO bearing end broke off, but I figured since it had been fine before, should be good now.....nope. Swapped in my new engine with a brand new clutch, and the TO bearing was whining after less than 5000 miles. Had to buy a new clutch fork, which is out of production now.

You have some choices.

The RAM setup that Aerobird runs is nice.  I run the centerforce DF with an aluminum Flywheel.  Also very nice.  Spec Clutches are also very nice, but the 6 puck deals are like an on/off switch, so not very nice for a DD.
