i found somewhere that the 2.3l had 195whp is that with the ihi or the t-3 turbo and is there a 2.3l ho motor?
thats 190 fly wheel horses SAE rated
thats for the 87 and 88 model years equipped with the 5 speed.(IHI)
the svo was rated at 200 for the 86 model year (t3 turbo).
190 flywheel horsepower is probly close to 150-165 at the wheels.
i have an 85 motor with a new t-3 that will be my next rebuild is there a site where i can find more info im new to the 2.3
