Title: Stripping 87 Turbo Coupe TODAY
Post by: P71 on June 15, 2007, 11:19:55 AM
I've been stripping my 87 TC while up here and before I send it to the crusher, do you guys need anything? I obviously already took all the big stuff, body panels, engine/trans/rear, and interior. But do you need any little thing or weird under-body stuff? I'm cutting off the rad support for somebody, got the fuel tank for somebody else, and am pulling the fuel lines for me.  Need any structural parts? (NOTE - The passenger side of the car is trashed. It got side-swiped by an 18-wheeler and it crushed the cowl enough to break the windshield and ruined the 1/4 panel, door, fender, etc.) Wiring? Heater box stuff? (EATC car) If you have any requests, please CALL me @ 360-510-3666 TODAY. I'll be farting around with it while John is at work (he's doing a lot better now but his g/f still can't remember anything).

Excellent :D

They're going on Layla :p

I got the wiring for Mikey and a ton of other stuff. All that's left of value is the full front suspension (except an 19-wheeler hit it so it's all screwed up. Bent K-member and all) and the master cylinder (bad and has 210,000 miles on it. Brakes didn't work at all when I got the car and all of the lights were on). Everything else is either in my truck's bed, John's garage, or is called "uni-body".

Which wiring?

83-86 1/4 windows aren't a problem. The 87-88 1/4 windows rubber is molded on and deteriorates over time. I've restored a set but it's labor intensive.

$40 shipped for the hanger and level. They are still good.

As for stripping a rare classic, it got hit by a Mack truck. A MACK TRUCK! :hick: I've actually owned this car for 2.5 years because I couldn't bring myself to strip it. (My favorite TC color) This is the first one I've actually been sad about. (The A-pillar was pushed in so far it trashed the windshield and BENT the K-member) :(
