Post by: nirvanagod on February 01, 2005, 12:56:03 PM
I've rooting around ebay for parts and such and came across this thing. Kinda crazy looking, but still cool! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36474&item=7950915799&rd=1

That's mainly for high rpm drag racing.

They work best on blower motors or high rpm race motors, as the really short runners in the intake are not condusive to low rpm torque, but it makes great high rpm horsepower.

usually, the shorter the runners, the higher the horsepower.  longer runners give you the torque.  thats why the stock 5.0L EFI HO had more torque, over the carbed version, because of the long runner intakes.
