Title: Nice Turbo Coupe for Sale with Pictures not mine
Post by: Cad-T-Bird 500 on June 09, 2007, 08:32:54 PM
Saw this on Craigslist, one of the mack 1 and he has a picture of the window sticker.  They did not give these away at 20k

Not mine but kind of neat, wants a lot.

$4,800 is a STEAL for that car. In between this one, the perfect Med Red/leather/moonroofer in OR, and the 5.0 HO 5,000 mile TC on ebay I'd be broke, homeless, and single...

...yet I keep thinking about it :hick: ...

The original invoices on Mach 1 TC's mis-spelled it "Mack".

I thought so too this is why I posted the picture of the window sticker, did not want to look too dumb.

I made him a 50% offer but guess what, he did not take it.

Don't know till you try.  Maybe I will get a call in a month or two.

I have seen it spelled both ways on window stickers.
The window stickers are generated from the invoices, so if the "typo" was on the invoice, it will carry on to the window sticker.

This window sticker has it spelled correctly, so it's invoice would have been the same way.

Since the seller states he is the original owner, you would think he/she would call it by it's proper name.

:EDIT:
:sorry: My picture came up too small to see, but trust me, it has Mach 1 spelled properly.

It looks like there is a decent size dent in the door where the star is.

edit: Here is a picture of it without the star.

A closer photo of the ding, some photos of the undercarriage, and some videos are available in the sub-albums under GreyMack.

The front wheel bearings have been cleaned/inspected and re-packed in conjunction with having the front brake rotors turned, and the exhaust has been replaced since the ad was originally posted. I hope to post some new photos soon.
