Well, John took the train down to pick up his running TC (Deuce, the primer 88). He stopped for gas and the headlight switch broke (didn't burn out, the plastic actually came apart). So he came back and I swapped switches with a spare (I love always having spares :hick: ). He makes it out of the driveway and the clutch goes up in smoke! So now I get to spend tomorrow trying to change the clutch so he can make it to Bellingham (230 miles) for work by 11PM. STUPID CAR!! :punchballs:
It sounds like he stopped at the right place to get things done. Good luck with the project.
I like Bellingham, went to college there.
If he breaks down in Olympia have him give me a call.

Are you the one running the ads on Craigslist for T-bird parts?
That car aint stupid. It saves onto it's problems and let's them all go at once so a good mechnic (you) can fi them correctly:hick:
Yep, I'm the craigslist TBird guy. Email me through here though as "normal" people get lower prices :hick: (There are some STRANGE people on CL).
And yes, if a TC is to break down, doing it at my house is the best you can possibly do. I have spare EVERYTHING. I had 4 headlight switches to pick from when his broke. I even have a spare T5 and flywheel...
Me - Hi, I need a clutch kit for an 88 Tbird 2.3 Turbo.
Parts dip - 5-speed or auto?
*sigh*
LMAO!
But in all honestly they both have clutches. :P
But I'm sure that's not what they meant.
Think thats bad! I tell the woman at the parts store once. "I need a cap and rotor for an 86 Grand Marquis". She comes back with a distributor cap and a brake rotor!
Left or right one?
so that mean your not stripping the sport!
Got the Sport moved and jacked up after we finished the clutch ;)
It's supposed to be clear on Sun/Mon so I will pull the fuel lines first when I do start. Send me the $20 now, and when I ship them out I'll let you know the shipping cost.
pm me the address ill have it out tomorrow
