Figured I'd start this off......These pictures are compressed to load them on here. I have all of these saved with less compression and much better detail. PM me if you want some higher resolution ones.....And feel free to add your own to the thread, please!
This car is like stepping back in time and onto a dealership lot!
Eric's 'vert sees Carlisle! It was nice to see it in person! The new one as well!
More!
Will's Car! Fantastic as always!
Ric's Car!
More Cougar love!
My Mustang.....
Lastly, This car was for sale in the swap meet lot! 351 AOD car
$14,900......Me and the wife are discussing it. She's actually for it. We just have to do some number crunching.
Nice pics, and good luck on the new Cougar ;)
Cars look Fantastic!
That would be sweet. Good luck on it.
Erics new car looks great with the new wheels. Sets it off real nice.
Weasle. Congrats dude!
how many fox bodies were there?
Cool:D . One day I need to go.
im going next year without a doubt! if i can..... i need to see everyones cars, meet you all, and show off either the stang or the mark
I forgot you could eat off of Erics engine. Oi, Weasle's car is so freaking bad ass. Your mustang looks mighty nice with the new hood on it too.
So, were there any T-birds at all at this show? ;)
Nice lot of cars, guys. I have a lot of catching up to do.
Yes...plenty....and one very evil TC that struck a nerve with me.
I'll have all of my pics uploaded soon enough...not here of course...I took close to 250! I love my new camera with its 2GB memory card.:D I'll get them somewhere and post a link for all to see.
im bad at car shows with cameras when i go to that one im bringing a video camera so much easier, i can get all the cars on film and just take pics of the coolest ones
Im guessing it was that orange TC that i was parked next to :hick:
I have a bunch of pictures, too. Anyone know a good place to upload a whole lot of JPEGs?
Photobucket
Imageshack
Flickr
All those work prety good.
Yes...it was that very similar shade of orange as compared to my Cougar...TC.
I use photobucket. It is much quicker if you resize them before uploading
thats a sweeeeeeet TC!!!
I was going to paint my red bird that color, im glad i didnt.
that's a nice TC. I wish all the cool car stuff didn't happen back east. We have Barret Jackson, and of course like a tard I've never been to that. I should go next year.
Man that would have been an awesome show!
Is that a custom interior in the orange TC?
I uploaded a bunch of pics here....a lot were doubles so I lost about 100 pics.

Enjoy!!!
And a pic of that TC's interior is in the album...so you can judge for yourself.

What car is that in? Holy cow!

I'm guessing that one. MAN that's HOT!!!
Yeah that was one LARGE intercooler....for a supercharger none-the-less.
The paint job on that mustang storm, very cool. So many cool cars. I noticed the Yellow mustang forum members were there, and mach1 members also. Makes me miss driving this thing a little.

Keep the pics comming, so we can keep drooling. :D
AWW I wanted to go to that. I love Marauders. And there are so many awesome fox bodies! Who has the TC with that insane amount of Chrome/silver under the hood? Also digging the Fender "scratches" on the newer Coug.
all icould see under the hood of that TC was braided hoses and hose covers. hurt my eyes a little bit. like the idea of the filter at the cowl on the S/C Bird.
LOL Must be Gary's Car from Nato he's talking about! :)
Ok everyone I just added some pics from the show to my MySpace page. Check them out under my photo albums.

Thank you. Thank you very much. :D
There was one thing that stood out to me at this year's Carlisle.
You guys might make fun of me for this, but I nearly fell in love with a car that was for sale. It was an all-original Topaz XR-5 with the V6 (120 hp) and the 5-speed. This particular car had an aftermarket sunroof, which is unfortunate. In fact, I think that really detracts from the value of the car.
Note the factory fog lights and special exhaust with rear bumper cut-out. I love it! The seats look pretty cool, too.
I wouldn't. I really considered buying one of those when they came out. In that color combo too. I thought it would be the perfect daily driver and probably fun too. The first thing I would have done was try and figure out how to make the grill light up like the Sables did.
They are probably a pretty rare find today since it was a one year only car.
How much were they asking?

I don't remember, unfortunately.
Sick. I love that color.

It was $3800 obo. Zach, you can probably verify by zooming in on the original version of the front quarter shot. If anyone here is interested, you can pass the phone number to them if it's visible.
I too, thought it was an interesting car.
Note the striping - similar to the 85/86 XR-7.

I posted this picture to show the exhaust Zach mentioned. The photo is over-exposed to bring out the tips. Are they stock?

I didn't take very many other pictures:

I took a bunch of pictures but here are a few.
This car was the stand out for me this year. A '64 Fairlane with the same color combo as mine. It was done up almost exactly how I want to do mine too. It has a 351 EFI conversion in it.

My mom's first car was a '74 Capri that she bought new and absolutely loved. The friday before the show, she quit her job to begin something new on Monday and although she was happy about the new job, she was still down about leaving her old one. My dad and I convinced her to come out with us since the hotel had a heated indoor pool so she could lounge all weekend and it would be a mini vacation for her while we were at the show. Sunday she came along with us and couldn't have been happier when I showed her this car. Hers was a slightly darker brown not as dark as the capri next to this one but the interior was a direct match.

This is an original '65 Steel Body Cobra. It was just beautiful.

351 powered Thunderbird on the dyno. Wish I knew what it pulled.

Finally how about this? A '40 Ford made the invitational display and the owner didn't mention that it had Chevy power. The staff at Carlisle didn't find out about it until the car arrived. It was very nice none the less.

F*CKIN'A!!! I want this kit for my car. Amazing color too
Yes, those are the stock exhaust tips. I don't have a '92 Topaz brochure, but I scanned this photo of a '92 V6 Tempo from it's brochure.
The '92 product guide says that the V6 Tempo/Topaz got a stainless steel exhaust system so that may explain why this car still has it's original intact.
The 4-door version of the XR5 was called the LTS.
