i stole the keys this morning when she left with her boyfriend. we took it out of storage last night cause i set up the big ass tent for it yesterday, and my moms boyfriend drove it home, man i love when he drives it, GOD THAT SUPERCHARGER SOUNDS NICE!!! all the car has is a borla cat back system that is still to quite. small vid just very quick.

no way im going to prom next year in that thing, afterwards top down cruising baby! and maybe a few 1st through sixth runs just for fun!

next week we are taken it out to a shop called dez racing, and we are gonna talk to them, see about getting it tuned, and install maybe some more go fast goodies!

Hmmm my parents would never let me drive a car like that by myself (much less to prom, where goofing off is guaranteed).  I can't even drive dad's Chevelle by myself, and I've never gotten a ticket or anything.  It's a sweet car though.

i think you can we just put it up yesterday. went together easy. Im gonna be allowed to i hope, i mean im the  mechanic for the family i keep all the cars on the road!

Mike @ DEZ racing is one of the best, if not the best mustang tuner in the north east. Ive been trying to get my mustang down there as it needs a tune badly. its running on the lean side. Im kind of holding off till i get my 6 speed and gears in there so it can be tuned for that as well. God willing ill have a D1 on there by then but its looking like that will likely happen next spring rather than within the next few months. too much stuff going on in the real world.
 
thats a sweet cobra your moms got. dont wreck it on her. so...got any pics of yer mom as well.... ;o)

WHY DOES EVERYONE WANT PICS, shes pretty much with this guy, i still call him the b/f
my friend i meet on myspace told me about dez shop. he has a 02 gt with a procharger, tko 500, p51 intake, and now full forged internals, and custom fuel system.  they are redoing the motor and should have everything done this week, we are going so i can see pauls car, and to see about getting some work done on the cobra, i want my moms b/f to put money in it. Hell me wreak it, i dont like to push things unless i know its safe to.

You got pwned by your parents. LOL. I drove my dads Chevelle to both proms. Drove it all days both days in fact. I get to drive it, because I work on it.

Nice Cobra. She must be a helluva mom to get a car like that and mod it. And she wants to take good care of it.

she doesnt really want to mod it, I DO. Im pushing her and her b/f to do it. i want them to open up the exhaust, and intake, and get a tune on it.its all about the sound! and i want a whipple, cause its louder! she wants to take car of it though. only other car id take to prom would be my mustang, but unless its painted, and my dad brings it to me, its not gonna happen, id love to though.

are you sane? its a brand new toyota matrix we got a few weeks ago, its OK, has no GO though. i tryed on the highway, took forever just to hit 70

fenderwell intake, bigger MAF, TB, and intake plenum, x pipe, new cat back, a tune, and it should be good. and eventually a whipple. no need to wast money on a pulley that stock eaton's are junk, boost drop out, which is why im getting them to get the whipple

I am very sane I Love Toyotas, especially older 80's RWD cars. My first car I still have is a 1980 Toyota Celica if i had the money it would have a Lexus 1UZFE quad cam V8 going in it right now.

i wanted to get a 99 celica supra, but nooo my mom said NO. and yea thats the dez racing rt 6 seconk mass, i drive by it all the time, and drool at all the cars i see

That is a nice cobra. I had an 85 supra too but it was rusted too bad. I was just bustin your chops cause of the comments about pics of your mom.

And if you think its hard finding parts for these fox body birds/cougars you should try finding parts for a classic Celica.

i ment to say 88 celica supra, and he had all the body parts to make it sweet looking again, and for 800 too! the guy that bought it is still driving it to this day a year after he bought it, hasn't done anything to it yet...'

Dude seriously, 2.4KB or go home.  Haha and this is your mom's car.  That color was my favorite color for those cars.  Not a fan of the vert though.  I don't think vert and sports car belong in the same sentence.

whipples are proven to build more power over the KB, though the the kb is my first choice. i dont car much that its a vert, its a cruiser for them, i mean its nice to just get in, blast the tunes, and cruise with the top down, plus its got the nuts to nail it when you want to!

Yeah, I'm with you, nothing compares to cruisin with the T-tops off and when the stupid Civic rolls up revving the piss outta their POS a little twitch of the trusy lead foot, and problem solved.  Isn't the 2.4L KB new though?  I stopped keeping up with that stuff when I got the T/A since roots aren't really that applicable on my car.  I just love the Blower Whine you get from the KB.  I know a guy with a Whipple and yeah that things usless in 1st-3rd gear... part of that may be since he doesn't know how to launch IRS... but hey, neither do I.  Haha live axle FTW!

the irs needs upgrading bad, the stock bushing suck, you change gears you hear it clunk around, but the 2.4l kb, is not very street friendly, its more race.

well its a 2.6L sueprcharger and that is the street one, a new one is far off but i guess ill have to re compare all the stats again.
