Title: My first post

Well I finally went out and bought a 88 T/C with 129k on it. No rust at all and only one minor ding in the body. I'm in the process of primering it for a repaint to the original color. The only issues I have with the car right now are:

1. No speedometer - need the cog that goes into the tranny

2. No fuel display - need the fuel sending unit in the tank

3. The idle is wack some times it idles real high and other times its real low - ???

Im in Las Vegas By the way

You should appreciate this. You have to be truely insane to bother going to that much trouble for such a lemon, but he's a hero all the same.

Nice Z. I've always loved 'em - the Z is one of the few cars that looked good in every one of their body styles, from the 240 right up to the 350. I almost bought a '78 many years ago - unfortunately old puppiesanese cars do not fare well in rust zones and the car was rotten. My personal favourite has been and always will be the 1990-1996. There is, in my opinion, just no better car from that era (I can say that because the Fox cars were before that era :hick:)

I like those cars, they're my favorite years for both of them. That Bird looks like its been lowered... and the bottom of the bumper cover isnt even busted. The interior is nice and it's remarkably clean under the hood too. The previous owner must've taken care of it. Nice score.

I wonder what springs are on it.
