Title: 88 t-coupe in Georgia: $1200
Post by: turb0coupe88 on May 22, 2007, 03:28:25 PM
141k
5 speed
runs strong, shifts good, clutch grabs hard, and power everything.
Has a squeaky belt, rust spot on the roof (not through, but some body filler cracked off), and bald rear tires(not from me:hick: ).
I like the car, it hasn't given me any problems but I picked up a civic and this needs to go. Has cone filter, exhaust is off the downpipe (needs to be welded to the rest of the exhaust, but still has all of it), and bypassed electronic boost controller, so its only boosting 10 psi. Runs 16.2 at 10 psi and no traction in 1st.
When we got the car the brake master cylinder was apart, so we replaced with a manual master cylinder, hard to press but still stops good.
Asking $1200

97 civic with perfect body+knocking motor= $650

$650+ $450 (28k mile motor w/6 month warranty)= better:D

So pretty much, $1100 and I have an uber reliable gas saver and insurance decreaser (keep in my 16 y/o with a turbocoupe...)

Wow, I've never seen someone register on the board with a Nice Turbo, even make a decent Signature banner for it, and then only after 36 posts, sell it, and disappear forever. Strange.

I'd get it, but the shipping would slaughter me.

You mentioned a decrease in insurance. How much are you paying for an '88 thunderbird, turbo or not??

I think my parents are doing like $50/6 months.
I've seen the bill for corvettes, camaros, mustangs, etc for them... still the same. I can't wait.
