dont mind my shiznitty cell phone pics, its still awating paint, but its 100 rot free
well the LSC looks nice, that old mustang i bet runs pretty good, always kinda nice to have a parts car,and $130 into that bike looks clean for being as old as it is.
Your Lincoln is looking good!
We dug out my daughter's 89 Bill Blass last week and yesterday I put on my wife's 95 Mustang pony wheels.
I changed the oil and filter and checked things out. If all goes well, she will get her permit today. If she decides she doesn't like the car, I want to convert it to coils spring suspension. I have all the pieces from 87-88 TC to do it.

AHHH I HATE YOU!!!! ill trade my lsc wheels for those!!!!!!
the bike is now blue with a silver stripe and black pins thanks to me
stang runs insane, it runs like a raped ape up through 5th
MORE STANG SHOTS.Under the hood,interior.
i have no interior shots, and i only have shots of the old motor. This summer ill take tons, when i pull it out to drive
(http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c384/boss3512/scan0005.jpg)
that i think is the only pic of the 351w i have
When you get around to throwing paint on that Mustang, it's going to make an awesome cruiser.
What color are you planning to go with?
original antique bronze. its gonna be a street strip car. 393 stroker, afr heads, coil over front and rear suspension, baer brakes and much more when im done. thats just how it is since my dad gave me it, its just a freshened up 351w with handported heads, long tubes, eddy intake, holly carb, luniati cam and lifters, small shiznit, but it goes like HELL.
thats how it looked before he did anymajor work, its a vinal top car, so no wide paint schemes, pure sleeper, other then sound. Im even keeping the stock 289 emblems on it, should be fun, i can't wait to drive it this summer
Nice choice of color. It's cool that you aren't going for the same blue, black or red that everyone does.
i originally wanted black, but i thought, i kindda like it its almost gold in color, and its DIFFERENT, i dont see alot of 66 stangs, but the ones i do are all close to the same, thats why im piecing mine together the way I want it, to be different then anything else. its THE car that got me addicted to cars, ive been around this car since i was born, and worked on it for so long, i love it, and i have so many memories of before my parents split with my dad in this car, we never drove it much, but anytime we went somewhere special for me, we HAD to take the stang, cub scouts weekend camp out, he came we brought the stang, all kinds of stuff. Then the new 2 1/2 with flows, coming home, started to run low cause the pump is dieing, had to mash it to keep it alive, in first to second roasted them out the spot light and flying around the courner. The car is just amazing to me, most people also think right now its a shiznit box cause how it looks, man so many camaros we ahve spanked with it!!
I know what it's like to work on a project like that for so long. Dad got his Chevelle when I was in 5th grade, and many cool memories have been had in that car. We even took it to my prom Junior year and stuff too. While I dont see me inheriting it any time soon, I still keep it close to me as if it were my own. And now my Tbird seems to be emerging as another father/son project for us. Only this time, it's mine! :D
Be sure to keep us all updated on the Stang. I'd love to see how it turns out after some paint and cleaning.
Thats what you think!!!!!!!! It's still in my name hahahahahaha:flame:
You always ruin my fun :toilet:
ford still beats chevy!!!! once i get my 393 wanna run them?? muhahahahha thats yeasr ahead though, the hotrod lincoln comes first
this summer ill go over the whole car and detail my prmier paint job, show you guys the beast more indepth, and a few vids will come, couple holshots, maybe a few rev vids, and some nice power shift it with it to the floor zoom vids lol
Keep dreaming!!!!!!!! LOL :shakeass:
the little chevy wont have nothing on a 393w with afr 185 heads, custom cam and much more, or maybe if we have my brothers 70 slowmaro z28 done with the 400 wanna run that?
This coming from a kid with no job.
never said it was gonna be soon thats the master plan for the car
this is years ahead man, but i know EXACTLY what i want
Owned.... but then again I'm not too far behind him either, so I'll shut up:toilet:
I may be too old by then, so you will have to ask Kingcars if he wants to run you. It will be his car by then!!!! LOL ;)
Keep it Bill, just to piss him off
ok then ill haveto race kingcar
Oh and btw...by the time you get that 393 done, who knows what the Chevelle will be pushin. And check the incar video in my windshield thread before you start talkin smack ;) . Hehehe
Dude, not to be a dick, but if you get your ass throughly handed to you, I'd laugh:D
i might lol, i was jsut messing around, i love chevelles, not a fan of 350 or 383's though, WAY over used in chevys much like 302's in fords, not that they are bad motors, but if im building something i like different!
They're popular because they're great engines and can make rediculous horsepower per buck. I'm all for being different too, but if I want horsepower on a budget, I'll stick with a 5.0 for a Ford or a 350 for a Chevy. Just depends on the budget.
yea i totally get it, never said it wasn't a good motor!! I still would wanna run you for shiznits and giggles, maybe jsut the 351 against the 383 youll kill me but my dad only has about 1200 in the 351 thats including the block and heads
Oh I know, I'm just discussing. Someday we can meet up and have some fun.
def lincoln against t bird stang against chevelle someday
and my step mom would so want the chevelle, she grew up in a chevy family, and it them off cause i trash talk chevys so much and they ask me why, and i just start the stang and go, cause it doesn't sound like this!
nice mustang no matter what it looks like. well since we are chevy bashing let me show you a picture of my older brother rides
gold car 1974 Mercury Comet Gt 302 crate engine 350+ HP
blue car 1966 Mercury Cyclone GT 390S code 335 HP needs some work to get back to that horse power rating.
I don't have pictures of my other two 1988 cougars personally I think they would break thae camera if I took a picture of them. They are pretty much shell cars one 3.8l and the other 5.0 that caught on fire a melted paint on hood and fender
nice mustang no matter what it looks like.
Nice mustang no matter what it looks like
screw the 393w go with a small block 460 with about 600HP
its needs to be streetable lol. and im not looking to spend thousands on the motor, since its alreayd got the 351w im gonna build that. Maybe it will get supercharged in the wayyyyy future after the 393 brakes and suspension. not to mention paint and interior.
