Ok, I had an idea. I know lots of people have spoilers not designed for tbirds or cougars on their car so if you are one of those people post a pic of the spoiler on your car and tell us what it came off of.
Here's mine, it's a late 60's Ford spoiler, seen on Mach 1's, Eliminators, Torinos and Cyclones. :grinno:

Spoiler from an 01 mustang modified to contour deck lid. But I recently acquired an original ford racing spoiler wich will be going on after I make a mold of it.

BMW M3-style spoiler. I believe the box listed the brand name as Saloon. It was from JC Whitney roughly a decade ago. Originally it had these "points" on the top but once I figured out that the whole spoiler was molded in foam, it was no problem to smooth out the top side.

This is what it looked like in 2000, before the body work:

how Eric, youre rear has undergone some changes over the yeas, seems like a lot of action has taken place back there
MINE CAME OFF OF a mid 80's firebird
Sorry I have no picture for I have not installed it yet .Its off a 94 pontica sunbird.I removed it at the gold mine(junkyard) set it on the trunk of a 88 thunderbird. It does not hang over the sides infact it looks like the one on Bear Maxwell white cougar but not as wide.Next time you see a sunbird take a minute and just look at it I am sure you will agree.
Myblue88tbird...Detroit Mi.
i had one from a pontiac fiero on my first tbird. sorry, no pics though.
baxo I really like the way that looks on ur car... I think i may need to find something similar
Just look in your local junk yard for a prelude..
mine actually has the LED brake light in it, I was too lazy to wire it up to the brake pedal so when I put the left turn signal on, it blinks.. Dah well.
Im looking for something like will's. But no idea what kind his is.
baxo I wish I were good @ photoshop like urself. I think the trick is to take a lot of picture of your car at different angles, so that when the time comes you have a lot to work with.
i was trying to photoshop ur wing to the rear of my car... ya didn't look too good. LOL
here is baxo's wing on my car,
i had to invert horizontally.... not very good tho...
hmm i cant decide

think i should just leave it bare... dunno if it'll look right with the new wheels and stuff.
tbirds look alot better with wings. A cougar with a wing just kinda looks like you are trying to draw attention away from the flat back window.
well said, I think your right.
It just doesnt go w/ its surroundings... but I love the way baxo's look with the paint scheme. it goes quite well, mine on the other hand looks stupid.
I really think that a Ground effects kit is what helps put the spoiler in its place.
