needing to get rid of a 455 pontiac it has 83000 original miles on it runs strong and fires everytime. thinkn about 6k but no reasonable offer refused.

I hate to be this ignorent, but are you sellin a motor for $6k or a car? All I know is a 455 is a motor, thats why I ask

For $6K I would hope it's a Super Duty...I really can't see a non-SD 455 going for that much...

Even SD455's only bring $5000. And that's complete, running, matching #'s motors.
