This TC is located 20 minutes south of me. I can't believe this guy want's $2,200 for it. I'd give him maybe, maybe $200 for it. Now you guys know what Illinois salt can do to these cars and why I put mine away in the winter.

If that is worth $2,200, why cant I get $2500 for my bird?!?!? :dunno:
it might be due to the fact its on a car lot. ;) its only worth what someone else is willing to pay.
And the reason I NEVER buy from a car lot...
Luckily I do have a buddy "in the business", so if I want something at a auction, I generally have him pick it up and pay him a little something to transfer the title...
To give you guys a idea what I'll pay, I turned down a fairly nice 102K mi '96 Cougar with a 4.6... Price $1500... Friggin' thing was mint green with dark green interior :yuck: (otherwise I'd probably bought it)...
Back in '97 I paid $1215 for my white TC, and my buddy made $200 on it...
Did anyone else notice it said 6 cylinder? Last time I checked, the 2.3T has only 4 pistons..... DId I miss something or does the dumbass not know what he is selling?
It also says 139k miles and there's 143plus on the odometer.
- 139,000???
The odomenter pic clearly shows 143,962.
Or was that before you rolled it back from 343,962?
- (super cpe)
"Super" Coupe???
It says "Turbo Coupe" right on the doors and trunk!
- We detect no paint work.
Don't you mean "we detect there's no paint left"?
- Engine: 6
Turbo Coupes have 4 cylinders.
The red seat pic is from a different car, looks
like maybe a Taurus? (Some kind of 4-door)
- Buy It Now price: US $2,200.00
Bahahahahaha!!!! Maybe $200. But only if you ask nice.
We'll see if he replies back. :hick:
Yes...and what the owner will let it go for. Now that becomes what anything is worth.
Hi, YOUR ON THE COMPUTER WAY TO MUCH- GET A JOB..
Think I should tell him it's spelled "you're"? :D
Owned.
car shows blue interior in one pic, and red seat in another. Also, if that's a used car lot, I wonder how much live-bait you get with a vehicle purchase?
It's from a Mercury Sable wagon (http://"http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&item=150118735216"), one of their "other items".
You can see what is apparently their version of a "hard-working professional sales team" :rollin: in the bottom right pic.
We detect no paint work
HAHAhahaha!
There likely never will be, either. I can't see this every being more than a parts car.
You would think they would at least clean and detail it before posting it... or would that be counted as " polishing the turd? "
