Well, went to pick up Nick's new (used) engine today, 96 Aluminum 4.6 DOHC Motor. Looks like I need to beef up the suspension a bit...

And for comparison, this is what it normally looks like (sans cap)

;) Low rider
needs some helper springs badly
admitting you have a problem is the first step! :D
i dunno, he admited one of his problems... he's half way there.. the sans top doesnt fit the car.. its white, the rest is black or dark... i'd paint the sob.
And sans means "without cap" ;)
whos Ranger is that in the pic? and why didnt you just take that?
Looks like they were loading it up, meaning, it wasnt at their house yet.
Pure geniuses in here.
thought they were unloading
nice ranchero. my 77 had air shocks on the rear to help with stuff like that!
I mean..Crystal is obviously a gal's name..? :rolleyes::confused:
Nice Rancho...what engine does it have?
Makes me wish I'd kept my '76 GT, which had a 460 and C6.
Speakin of the DOHC...they weigh nearly as much as a 460..hell, it woulda made that Ranger squat some...let alone a Rancho....;)
Yes SHE (me) took the cap off but kept it, it can come in handy and will be painted when I paint the rest of the car.
That's Nick's brothers shiny new drive it around truck, I didn't wanna crud it all up.
And Shawn, You're the genious here... this was just getting it home ready to unload ;)
It's a 79 302 car, so it's slow as hell, but it's also reliable as hell. Haven't looked in to mods yet as I have too many projects, but hell at the least it'll be way prettier this summer.
