Your car is so clean!!! I thought i was obsessive about that! Wanna help me? That is beautiful!!!!! Im jealous.
looks good! now find you an Exploder intake to match the heads, and 24# injectors and matching mass-air. :D
GT-40 style intake and 2.5" exhaust are next on the list:D
Dude that car is HAWT! And did you stick PRC in that thing, or are those just strut covers? I've only ever seen them on TC's.
Thanks :D
No those are just the covers. I grabbed them off a TC at the wreakers. To me it looks better than the bolts sticking up ontop of the strut towers.
Surely does. God that engine bay is soooo clean. Now you just need to fil in all the holes.
Great work.Very nice attention to detail.I'm trying to do that myself, but, with bodywork going on,it's pointless detailing too much until the car is done being sanded on.Again, you did a great job.
to bad your far away id give you a deal on the t/c style dash peices, and some 10 holes or snowflakes.
Very clean, very nice, good work!
I think the 8-holes look killer on his car. it's a shame most places charge so much to widen a wheel. He's already got 4 wheel disc, all I'd consider doing is upgrading to Mark VII or TC front brakes, then get the 8-holes widened. Then get it lowered. Probably one of my favorite birds on this board.
Bah, what a dirty piece of . Give it to me and I'll take care of it ;) .
good job man, looks great, (except for the dice on the mirror, LOL ;))
:birdsmily:
It looks great but that blue sticks out.
Nope 10" drum brake 7.5" rear with FMS 3.73 gears, Traction-Lok, and a stud girdle diff cover. It was built by a local shop that does diffs for drag cars. I had it done because I couldn't find a Turbo Coupe rear locally. The week after it was finished an auto TC finally turned up at the wreakers:hick:
It's just standard Ford blue engine paint. I've noticed that it looks brighter than it really is on a camera, probably because of the flash. It looks good in person and I really like Ford blue:D
Oh it's a pain in the ass to keep it that way. To keep a car this clean it can't be a daily driver. As others on here who just use their cars for pleasure/shows can attest (ie Eric) everything has to be clean. Try keeping the wheel wells clean on a daily driven car. You can't. I try to only wash the car once a month. Most of the time I just dust it. When I was swapping the engine out last month the car got rained on for the first time in 2 years:hick: .
Yeah, just keeping my daily driver as clean as it is is a pain. With good weather, she gets washed every 2 weeks or so if not more. And I also had my first experience keeping the engine clean...whatta pain! It's tricky just to brush off the valve covers....
It's a pain at times but it looks nice when the hood is poped :D
My cars up on the machiene shops website incase you wanted to see who built my engine. :birdsmily:
