anyone dropped a 408 or 460 in their car, im in the process of buying a 408 and dropping it in, i found a 460 for 12,000 built for race, basically what im doing. im thinking of making it street legal as well, i was wondering if anyone has had problems with those size engines if they have used them.

There was a dude a couple years back who dropped a carbed 460 into an '86 TC.  As I recall the only major thing he did was use K-member spacers, and some work on the motor mounts.

Summit use to sell a kit for the conversion. There were a couple members at one time, 1 a bird n 1 a cat I believe, that had 460's. That's been awhile though. there was a sweet lookin' blue 86' w/a 460 last year for sale on e-bay also.
