Ask Mike ( Areobird Motorsport)
Not sure about this one, ask Vinnie
I heard my name??? :D
Yeah, he needs the body mildings. I think I'm not the only Fila anymore....
Do you need a harness for the tripminder or just the tripminder itself?
thanks for the replies.
I have won an auction on ebay for the visors but are different color. But I can get them re-upholstered.
I'll let you know on the seatswitch this week.
And may have a tripminder from vinnie.
I need the 2 bird emblems that go on the outside pillars behind the rear side window.I got 2 on an 85 parts car but are different.(Want to stay original).I also need the emblem on the trunk that says Thunderbird.Mine is broke
Still need the headlight switch with autolamp delay
Man this place is great.I've been looking for parts for quite a while, with no luck
Mikey, I'll be dealing with you to get that Tripminder.... don't sell it out from under me, sir.
Are your headlight switches like an '88 (rocker switch for the headlights, roller for the light dimmer, roller switch for the auto lamps)? If so I have them as well.If not,I can get them next week. There are about 20 T-Birds/Cougars at my favorite wrecking yard.Let me know.
Vinnie, the '83-'84 switches are the pull-out style. I think the autolamps had a ring behind the that controlled the timer, etc.
Another Maritimer has joined the group :D Welcome, flyer - I'm from Nova Scotia, as is Oldraven. There's a Newfie hereabouts, too (Thundergrowl). I know, not technically a Maritimer, but we accept him anyway :D
Now we just need somebody from PEI and the Canadian Maritimes will be representin'
Oh, and Mikey: I didn't want to break your heart, but we ha another member join recently with an '85 FILA 'Bird. User name fila571
shiznit man, 3 Fila's now. I'm finally not alone anymore
I think it's different.I have an 85 bird parts car but it's different.Mine is plunger style. You pull it out once for park lights, then pull it out more for the headlights. You turn it to adjust the dashlights up and down. And you turn on the auto head lights with the round part that usually just holds the light switch in the dash.the switch itself has three things that plug into it.one for the headlights, and two for autolamp delay,From what I can find it has two be off 83-84 models. But must have the auto lights. The sensor is in the middle of the dash by the windshield.
what years of turbo coupe hoods will fit the 84 t-bird.I know a guy with 3 or 4 of them.Might see if he wants to sell one
Yep right on,that's the ones
I may be wrong or a bit off here, but I'm pretty sure that ANY t/c hood will fit. Since they are all the same hood and the fenders didn't change too much, any year should fit
I think the only difference among any of the '83-'88 hoods were the hinges in the '83 cars, so you'll have no issues.
thanks.Hopefully he'll sell one.I love the look of them
I like the look, but will not do it to my ride. Everyone has them. I'm holding out for either a custom SVO style hood or just leave it stock
