Title: primer gray front clip

well my clear coat on the 88 t bird was basically sunburned and looked liek  so i wet sanded and primed teh front clip.. i want to paitn the car all black in teh future but here it is for now

I give you a lot of credit. I don't know how I'd work on a car living within a city like Queens. You don't do all of your work right there parked on the street do you?

Are you going to primer the rest of the car  or just leave it like that until paint?

well yeahh its masking date lol.. and yeah i do all my work in teh streets considering i dont have a garage which suks a$$... i did all my work onmy car in teh streets .. its so annoying how people always look at you like your soo crazy or something..  well thanks for teh comments.. o0o and i was thinking of doing the car all primer gray but my bro said wait cause i wanted to paint teh car all black but maybe ill paint it some more.. got some more sanding to do tho... love my t bird

Don't leave the primer.Get some nice paint on it.Grey primer will give your car that "beater" look.They're too nice for that.

yeah i just said teh same thing to my self ..  i was just looking at her n i was like  i need to paint it forget bout just leaving it as primer

Parking on the street would suck. Im glad I have a garage, nice thing about small towns. Sleeper he meant grey primer, not black.

woh woh, primer front give it that beater look! i sported the primer front for about a year, thank you. lol i painted it a while back but it looks good. and black is a great choice in color, even better if you have A/C

Primer is Primer, no matter what colour it is.  Paint it.:flip: :D

I will be doing my whole car in primer soon too, so I cant talk too much.  But I also plan to paint it within 2 weeks of primering it too.:D
