Title: fiberglass cowl on non-fox
Post by: 50tbrd88 on April 25, 2007, 10:54:45 PM
My '01 F-150 got hailed on a couple weeks ago.  Looks like it will be cheaper to go with an aftermarket hood.  I would like a cowl hood and one of the better looking ones I found is made by Cervini's.  I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this company and/or fiberglass cowl hoods.  Are they as durable as a metal hood?  I think Cervini's is a good company...I know they make a ton of Fox mustang parts.  I do know that a friend of mine put a fiberglass cowl hood on his 4th Gen Camaro and he had some issues with warping in the hot sun...but he may have had a cheapie brand.
