Title: Mac's Rawk
Post by: Ether947 on April 23, 2007, 09:04:42 PM
Using a Mac for the first time (in 20 years) is like putting on a new pair of glasses and seeing a bunch of stuff you never saw before. I must admit that I was a little skeptical at first, but I am officially hooked on this little MacBook.  I can't believe how easy it is to use and how everything just "works". Imagine that. xD

Now I must give it back to the lady. :(

Oh don't get me started on Macs. Not that they're bad but just a bit different from PCs. Different enough that little things piss me off.

Yeah, I'm a graphic design major in college so we use them all the time and I'll be using them for the rest of my life I'm sure. They are excellent for graphics and designing in motion etc. I just need to get past the little stuff.

Everything works on my PC....with XP Pro.....works rather well in fact.....hasn't crashed one since I bought the new MB and P4 Processor last Jan.

Only reason I'd get a Mac is to video edit once I get a Canon XL H1 and start burning some Cougar DVD's.

I am stuck with a PC for awhile. But when I update, I hope to go with a mac/apple PC. Until then I am still trying to get Max OS on my pc.

I never understood why PCs started gettin a bad wrap once the whole Mac ad campaign started.  They're mostly just BS commercials, like the one that points out how Macs dont get viruses...thats cause there are A LOT more people on PCs.  So yeah, go ahead, advertise, get a lot of people getting Macs, then we'll see how it shakes out.  Morons.  I just enjoy laughing at their terrible attempts to attack PCs, and the sad part is that so many people fall for it.  Not that I'm anti-Mac, I just dont like their stupid ad campaign.

I just got an HP Notebook. Entertainment package, decked it out with upgrades. Actually got it at noon today. I love it, been downloading songs and programs all day. Its nice to actually be able to use the benefit of Cable internet.

You cant sell something by saying "theirs is good, ours is a little better"
