Why are you going to run a carb? (just curious) A friend of mine had the same setup in his chevette and ran as low as 10.12's.

I'm guessing because it was already set up for a carb...as I noticed the regulator over on the pass. inner fender.

It clears pretty well,In the pic it isnt secured so it is resting on the cover.

I dont want the  expense and hassle that will come from trying to do what i am planning with fuel injection

 your not joking when you said you were gonna make a bad ass 2.3t, how hard is it to do headers? My brother wants me to make some for when he does a 3400 swap to his caviler, and he wants to turbo it

its pretty close to the same height,Once i finish adding the weight (turbo and related) I will set the final ride height (coil overs on front)

ITs all in how hard you want to make it i made my s and stuff myself wich adds to the labor part.

there called (weld el's) they are basiclly natural gas steel fittings. it is the same material Bob lee uses on his log headers.

Its definatly not the cheapest way out. ive got 128.00 worth of pipe there.

they are rated at pressure on these type fittings, The wall thickness is around 1/4 in

it is comparable to the factory e6 manifold in weight, SOmetimes you have to trade weight for durability

Hey I've seen the Holset turbo set up in a fox bod before. Has anyone seen an intercooler out an '04 ram used for 4orce power before. I got one in my basp00get & dyin to try it!

yeah its been done alot with the smaller holsets people still kinda stay away from these h1e/hx40.

FWIW i had a full size powerstroke unit in the front of my T/C at one time.so the cummins unit may fit.

I didn't measure it but I think it's a tad tall. Pretty sure a radiator shop could fix that.

Went ahead and ordered my 3"  mandrel bends today for my intercooler piping they will be here by lunch tommorow even though i wont be able to pick them up untill wensday unless ajsbird pics them up for me (pleaaaaaaaasee), we will see how that pans out. I hope to complete this by thursday evening and be able to start tuning asap.

89 mustang 2.3 block

Turbocoupe rods and pistons

E41K ring set

clevite bearings

N/A head with the chambers opened to unshroud the valves

1.89/1.60 valves .100 thou longer

.500 lift lunati camshaft

Lunati dual springs

Clevite lifters and tappets

Home done port job

Thats about it I want to push the stock shortblocks limits before i drop big coin into a stroker.

The carb is a 600 double pumper i got from mikey, Setup for blowthrough i also changed the boosters and rebuilt it myself

I usually get hookers or dynomax mild steel mandrel bends.I order them from a local speed shop cause they usually get the stuff next day as opposed to 2-3 days from jegs or summit:hick:
