the ones that hold the window regulator on. ive tried harbor freight, nothern tool, lowes, home depot, auto zone, oreilly's, car quest, walmart, and ace hardware... :beatyoass:
i can try to get a pic of a chiseled one, if that would help???
Are you talking about rivets?Won't small bolts work with locknuts?
Thats what I did. Works just as good and makes it way easier if there is a problem that needs to be fixed.
i guess what i be doin' then!
Make sure you use lock nuts. They're cheap and it's worth it so you won't have to get in there and re-tighten nuts and bolts evry so often.
you could always add some locktite too. Just for good measure. Oh and about those rivets those aren't like the ones you buy. They are a facotry deal where a machine stamps them into place and forms those niffty little heads on them. At least that is what I've been told. I bet you should be able to get some big headed one you just might have to order them. I'll look at work.
1/4" diameter rivets should do it. ipsd is right - you'll never get factory-style ones.
if you nuts and bolts dont over tighten them.
i actually found some at the paint supply. and get this.... they're called "window regulator rivets". go figure!
So was that a auto paint store? ALso that is awsome to here that you found those fatcory style rivetts. Thanks for the info. Keep up the good work.
yea, auto paint
