How exactly would you wire these into the car? Use a relay or something? Curious as this is one of my new projects
i have a 2-speed fan from a 93 3.8L. it is wired through a winch relay i bought at NAPA(part # ST87), then through a toggle switch. i only wired the high speed side. they do draw a lot of amps, so you'll need a relay bigger than 30A. i went through 3 30A toggle switches and 3 30A relays before i spent the $50+ on the NAPA relay.

I'm curious about this too. I used to think there was a writeup on coolcats, but failed to find it. Mikey's picking me up an extra set of Taurus fans, too, so I'd like to know. I know it involves relays, though.

I have done the Taurus electric fan mod last summer / fall. I have not had any problems since doing this. I'm only running the high speed side right now. I want to wire in the low speed side for going to the track for cool down between runs. I have found a mistake in the information that Fordmuscle (http://"http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2003/02/electricfan/index.php") has supplied: Bosch 150amp Relay PN: 0 332 002 156 $30. This is only a 75amp relay. Bosch does not make a 150amp relay. I have used a 70amp relay from JC Whitney for less than half the cost of the 75amp Bosch relay. JC Whitney catalog p/n. EM135476 cost $9.99 each. I have also used a Maxi-50 inline fuse in place of the 14 gauge fusible link on the wiring diagram on Fordmuscle. This fan draws 51amps at start up and settles down to 32amps while running. hope this helps.
