now with the cam, any problems gonna be had running new lifters with a used cam? im tempted to save a little green and get it.
I want the 5 speed swap stuff buts thats more then i payed for my car! and i don't have that much!
I was always told new cam=new lifters. keep them a matched set ya know
thats only true with a flat tappet cam, roller cams are made out of billet steel which is alot stronger than cast, so the to answer question you will be fine unless there is major damage and there is none on this one

GT40P intake? is that the exploder intake?
yes, but it has the H.O. throttle body and spacer. it was on one of my project cars
quick question is exploder tb bigger then h/o i can get a exploder one cheap and i was wondering if theres any change
i dont know for sure on the size, but you will have to grind the linkage arm off the explorer tb and weld the one from your stock one onto it, ive never tried it but i hear it works good
I think it's a few MM bigger, but as for how much bigger I don't know
