Title: clicking for the door locks???

I hear the door locks clicking and when i go to lock the doors it won't lock but continue's to unlock the door. if i pull the the number 12 cb it should fix that and not run the battery down or is it not that simple. :hick:

Mine did that,and it was the door lock buttons on the door that were bad.I replaced the switch and all was good.

how much did you pay for the switches and can i take them off and the door function without them?

plus i know this sounds stupid but where it exactly and how to disconnect it.

You have to pull the door panel,and they mount from behind with two nuts,and a small harness.Ypu can get another set of switches off a salvaged T-Bird or Cougar,or,go down to parts wanted and make a post.Someone here has some.
