That blows.  I've heard similar stories about them too.  Buddy ordered some parts for his 00 GT and they came like 3 months later.

Dragging this one up again. I called up Saleen today because last time they told me it would ship by the 20th of April. Well, the guy tells me they are STILL waiting for the heat exchangers and they SHOULD (yeah, right ) be shipped next week.

I'm sick of waiting. The non-intercooled Whipple kit COMES with injectors and colder plugs.

So the Saleen order has been cancelled and the Whipple was ordered instead through the same supplier.  Whipple already confirmed that it's in stock (and ALL THE PARTS ARE WITH IT!) and will ship on Monday.  In fact they called the supplier back, he didn't have to call them!  To top it all off I'm going to save some cash and install it myself with some help from 2 friends!  Seeing as it comes with a flash tuner, we can get it up and running and dyno tune it later for only $300 buck as opposed to someone else having to throw everything on and me getting charged!

Some info: http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/product.asp?ProdID=1208
Keep in mind I got the non-intercooled kit.  I'm told with the stock tune to expect 400-415 RWHP on a dynojet.  A good tune can coax another 20-25 out of it.    It'll look like the one in the pic, but black not polished.
