You need to buy an installation kit at Wal-Mart or Autozone or wherever (if you already haven't).It connects to the wires on the CD player, then just plugs into the factory wiring.Costs about $10.00.I think the blue wire on the back is for the lights on the CD player. It can be hooked to a fuse for the lights.Just an idea.

when i installed my new kenwood, i had to rewire every speakerwire in the car.  ran the rear wires down the right side of the car (under kickpanel under the carpet and then under the back seat.  and then i ran the door speakers covertly and the driver side is the easiest.  get you some wire from autozone, get 2 spols infact, and make yourself an extra arm with a clothes hanger to push through the boots and then at one end of the wire put a loop, that way you can loop the speaker wire around the hanger wire and pull it through the boots in the doors.  its whole day job but in the end, its better wire than in the car already.  i couldnt find anything wrong with the wire already in the car, but this is the only way i could get sound to the speakers.

I was lucky.I just wired the stereo up to the adapter plugs and everything worked great. When I pulled the stereo last week from my old driver to install it and my 10 disc changer,it was just plug and play. Are you sure you have everything wired correctly?Double check everything and triple check. One wire can mess you up.

Just feel lucky that you have the factory plug. Mine looks like a slasher film after the bad guy is dead and the damage done.

Also did you plug in the ant. my radio would get sound until I did that.

No promises, but if you're hooking the wire to a fuse,I THINK it's fuse number 13 (5 amp) you want so it'll run off the dash lights when you turn on the headlights.Does that help?
