As you probably all know, the board software automatically sends birthday wishes to all members on their birthday. I just received this email in response to one of those messages:
:shakehead I dunno what to say, except to request that everyone gives Fran and Jay's family their prayers...
:( Thats terrible. I send my best wishes.
Wow. What do you say to that? Aweful news. :(
Did anyone here know Jason?
I didn't know him, but I offer my condolences to the family in their loss.
Sorry to here My condolences to them
poor mustang also ;(
wow. thats awful. in my prayers.
i gotta say, what a (maybe?) fortunate coincidence, he was doing what he loved. hopefully he did not suffer greatly...
Wow, that is rough!
All I can say is where ever he is, his fate is sealed. Place yourself in his shoes. Where would you be? Just something to ponder.
But anyway, he has left family behind and my prayers do go out to them. For they are left with a giant heart ache I am sure. To say nothing of at least a wife if not kids now unsupported and faced with no husband/dad to come home to.
I do thank her for letting us know though. And if you hear of or know of any way that we can help, I would love to know about it.
In prayer,
Bryan
It always is bad news to find out someone died, even if you didn't know them well, or at all. Like you all say we can only hope it was painless, and he was happy, and is happy now. let him rest in peace
Only thing I can say is R.I.P.
thoughts and prayers to his family and to him watching over them.
R.i.p.
just thought you might want to read this... it was on his mustang site
JASON WIEDER PALM BAY Jay Wieder, 41 years old, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 21, 2007. He was born March 30, 1965 in Allentown, PA. to the late Allan and Jean Wieder. Jay and his wife, Frances moved to Palm Bay in 2002. He worked at Intersil Corp and was an avid member of the local Mustang club. His pride and joy was his 68 Mustang California Special. He enjoyed his car hobbies, playing pool, working in his home, playing with his dogs. He could be found on Friday Family night in downtown Melbourne dancing in the streets with his wife, Franny. Jay had a zest for life and many interests and talents. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, Frances, he is survived by three step-children; five step- grandchildren; and his sister, Charlene. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon. Calling hours and a Celebration of his Life will be held Sun day, March 4, 2007 at his home.
That's horrible news. At least he was doing something he loved. Cruising his Mustang...
Wow, that's really sad. I'm so sorry to hear that. RIP Jason
It always stinks to here about someone you knew bitting the bullet. So R.I.P. my fellow bird/couagar brother. If I had a 40oz. I'd pour out some for Jason. OH yeah keep those tires burnin for us. Show'em what stang bangin is all about so them know somthing when we all get there.
WOW! That's awful news..... he's the second member we've lost in less than one year.
My thoughts and prayers go to his family.
