This is just to let everyone know that the June 3-5, 2005 Carlisle PA ALL Ford Nationals will hold a 50th Anniversary of the Thunderbird Celebration! There will also be a Thunderbird ONLY Cruise the evening of June 3, 2005 after the days events at the Fairgrounds, at Family Ford information on both are found below!
* June 3, 2005 Carlisle, PA Friday evening after the days events at the 2005 ALL Ford Nationals at Carlisle there will be a Thunderbird ONLY Cruise-In/Thunderbird Show at Family Ford 170 York Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Family Ford will open its lot to Thunderbird owners from 6:00 p.m. till around 9:00 p.m. and will be providing Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, beverages and even a few trophies for ALL Thunderbird Enthusiasts that attend this event with their Thunderbird. What more could one ask for Free Food, Free Entry and Thunderbirds flocking together! MORE Information to follow!
* June 3-5, 2005 Carlisle PA ALL Ford Nationals at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. This year Carlisle is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Thunderbird with 2 separate Special Displays plus the usual "FUN FIELD" Thunderbird Display Classes.
1) The first will be a Thunderbird "Evolution Display"! A display row of one of each year of Thunderbird produced form 1955-2005. This is an outside display that the Carlisle operators do not want the vehicles to leave the grounds once they are set. All vehicles need to be in place by 10:00 am Friday morning and stay until 3:00 p.m. Sunday. More information to follow!
2) The second will be a display in Building Y of rare and limited edition Thunderbirds examples would be but not limited to: 57 E & F Codes & Battle Birds, 57 E & F Models 60 Sun Roof, 60 Allegheny Stainless Steel, 1963 Princess of Monaco, 65 Special Landau, 1967 Apollo, 78 Diamond Jubilee, 79 Heritage 1980 25th Anniversary, Fila, Elan 1985 30th Anniversary, 1990 35th Anniversary, 1995 40th Anniversary, 1997 limited Edition, 2002 Neiman Marcus, 2003 007, 2004 Pacific Coast Roadster, 2005 50th Anniversary Limited Edition etc. Those individuals selected to be inside the building will need to arrive on "Thursday" and leave the car in the building throughout the show, they will not be able to drive it in the evening. Sunday at 3:00 will be the check out time.
Each partint in the 2 special displays will receive a special partition shirt (there will be a partition form created which will be mailed to each partint).
Vehicles in both of the displays will not be considered for class partint ballot awards! Vehicles in the display will be considered for celebrity pick awards.

The 50th Anniversary Thunderbird stuff is just for T-Birds, but for the show itself there are Cougar classes (stock and modified).
ya I knew better about the show stuff for tbirds. but Hopefully I'll be able to get some of my projects done, and have some extra money.
