Well I started working my cat. I have something I want to do in the short term. I am just glad to have a garage.

I still have breaks and bushing etc, to do but it is a start. And I am finally working on her!!!!!!!!! :hick: :cougarsmily:
Replace the PCV screen under the valve and the valve too while you have that upper off. What is that goo on the floor next to the IAC in the bottom pic? And what else are you doing motor wise? I assume you're swapping on an HO upper.....anything else?
Well the pool of liquid is anti-freeze, and no I am not swapping an HO upper yet, I am replacing some gaskets due to a fue leaks that have developed since I got her. Beside I think I am going to drop a 351w in my cat when I get the money.
This time it is more like exploratory surgery than anything else.
Ahh ok, makes sense. The picture makes it look as if it's a thick liquid....almost like oil. Other than the usual dirt, grease, and grime deposits everything looks pretty good. You decided on a fuel delivery setup if you go 351?
Nope, it is so far away I haven't given it much thought. Though I am leaning towards FI.
I thought that maybe XR7catgot so excitied that he tinkled just a little bit.(that pool of liquid) I thought only dogs got that excited.LOL
Heh, your engine looks about as dirty as mine was when we took it apart. I wish I could do some work on mine...but thanks to allergy season...
