Title: rear window trim
Post by: Dansbirds on March 29, 2007, 02:15:26 PM
Have an 87 bird and have traced my trunk leak to an area that appears to be at the lower corner of the back glass. Anyone having ideas as to what holds the glass mldg on or other scenario's to check would be appreciated. Thanks as always, Dan.

2 small moulding clips,if you get a light and look from the glass side into the moulding youll see them,i think you have to remove part of the upper moulding as well.
Those areas are pr0ne to rust holes due to the fact that water sits in there with nowhere to go.

You can buy a tool to remove those clips by I've always just used a flat blade screw driver. You can buy ne clips if needed at any decent parts store.
